Microbiology

Department of Microbiology, was developed and started its functioning in 2016 under the leadership of Dr Rajesh Yadav – the first Head of Department. The department is situated on the 3rd floor in Administrative Block. The Department boasts well equipped laboratory facilities for MBBS, MD, M.Sc. and PhD programmes respectively. The Department has contemporary infrastructure with a team of highly motivated faculty in area of Microbiology. Aligned with the guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the principles of Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME), the department integrates classroom learning & promotes Laboratory skills.

Dr. Neeti Mishra

Dr. Neeti Mishra– A graduate from SRMS, Bareilly and Post-graduate from Era University, Lucknow, is Professor & Head of Department of Microbiology since 2024. She has published more than 16 papers in National & International journals.
