Dr. Ashok Kumar Srivastava is a distinguished medical academician, medicolegal expert and administrator with more than 40 years of experience. After obtaining his M.D. (Forensic Medicine) degree from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, he joined G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur in 1985, where he served in various academic positions and made significant contributions to teaching, research, medicolegal services and administration. Following voluntary retirement from government service (GSVM medical college Kanpur) in 2006, Dr. Srivastava joined Subharti Medical College, Meerut, where he served as Professor & Head of the Department, Dean Academics, and later as Principal & Dean. His visionary leadership played a vital role in strengthening academic standards, research activities, and institutional development. He subsequently joined T.S. Misra Medical College & Hospital, Amausi, Lucknow, as Principal & Dean, where he continues to guide the institution with dedication, integrity, and commitment to excellence in medical education.

Dr. Srivastava has authored and published more than 50 research papers in national and international journals and presented in national and international conferences. His contributions to medical education, forensic medicine & research, he was awarded with prestigious honours as Fellowships by Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine and Indian Congress of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology and Lifetime Achievement Award. He firmly believes that medical education should not only impart scientific knowledge and clinical skills but also nurture compassion, ethics, discipline, and social responsibility.
