Governing Body

Rules & Regulations

  • Every student shall maintain discipline, dignity, and professional behaviour within the college, hospital, hostel, and campus premises.
  • Students shall carry their valid College Identity Card at all times and produce it whenever required.
  • Respectful behaviour towards faculty members, staff, patients, visitors, security personnel, and fellow students is mandatory.
  • Any act of misconduct, violence, theft, vandalism, harassment, prank, or law-breaking activity shall attract disciplinary action.

  • A dress code is prescribed for all students (MBBS, Interns & Post graduate students), that have to wear all the time during lecture, lab & clinics between 08:00 am to 04:00 pm.
  • Dress code for MBBS students are white shirt, black tie with college insignia, black trouser, black shoes & Aprons with college insignia with name. Scrub suit of light blue colour is for Interns and navy blue colour for Junior resident.
  • Jeans, T-shirts, slippers, inappropriate hairstyles, and untidy appearance are prohibited.
  • Students shall maintain personal hygiene and professional grooming standards.

  • Use of mobile phones in classrooms, laboratories, clinics, wards, and examination halls is strictly prohibited. If it is recovered from in the class room, it will be seized and handed over to the parents only. No consideration will be done on this matter.
  • If any unauthorized electronic devices recovered from examinations hall, it shall be treated as unfair means and disciplinary misconduct.

  • Hostel is compulsory for all students (MBBS, Interns & Post graduate students) during entire course.
  • Students shall stay only the rooms allotted to them.
  • Hostel property, furniture, electrical fittings, and infrastructure shall be used responsibly. Students cannot change their room without permission/approval of competent authority.
  • Students shall not shift furniture or fixtures without permission. Any damage to hostel property shall be recovered from the responsible student(s).
  • Unauthorized electrical appliances are prohibited in hostel rooms. Students should switch off their electric appliances before going outside the room, any type of fire because of short circuit will be treated serious type of misconduct and dealt accordingly
  • Students shall adhere to the hostel entry and exit timings prescribed by the institution. Reporting in the hostel is mandatory for MBBS students before 09:00 pm in summer and 08:30 pm in winter. Reporting time for Interns & female residents is 10:00 pm and for male residents is 11:00 until unless they are on the emergency night duty.
  • All have to mark their signature with time in attendance registers kept on reception of the hostel. Late entry, unauthorized absence, or failure to report in the hostel shall invite disciplinary action.
  • MBBS students can go outside the campus only on outpass issued by hostel warden/caretakers. Outpass is permitted only on 02 days, Sunday & another 01 day specified for the batches. Outpass is also issued on weekend for local students or local guardians whose identity is registered in the college record at the time of admission, only after the approval of parents on video call.
  • Possession, consumption, distribution, or promotion of alcohol, tobacco, smoking products, narcotics, or any intoxicating substances within the campus is strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule may result in suspension, expulsion, and legal action.
  • Food shall be consumed only in designated dining areas. Carrying food from the mess to hostel rooms is prohibited. Chief warden/ Security can inspect any room, any time for certain reasons.

  • As per National Medical Commission New Delhi, 75% attendance in lectures & 80% in practical/clinical and 50% marks in internal assessment (theory & practical combined) is mandatory to appear in professional examinations. Students shall have to maintain the minimum attendance & Internal assessment to become eligible to appear in university examinations.
  • During Internship only 15 casual leave is permitted. 20 Casual & 05 Academic leaves per year are permitted for three years Post graduation study.
  • During college time students shall not be allowed in hostels, canteens, or library.

  • Fee, including hostel, miscellaneous etc. should be deposited in total before the commencement of the academic session. Students shall deposit the fee within due date as notified time to time. For undergraduate courses the time of fee deposition is 01st April to 15th June of respective years.
  • If fees are not deposited or partially deposited, the student shall pay the interest @18%on outstanding amount.
  • If fees are increased by UP Government, Hon’ble court or by any statuary authorities, the difference of payment shall be paid by the students as per the direction.
  • Students with pending dues may be restricted from examinations, registration, hostel facilities, or issuance of certificates.
  • If any student discontinues the course by any reason, he/she has to pay the whole course fee.

  • Undergraduate Students are not allowed to have any two or four wheelers vehicles. Visitors are not allowed in the student’s room. They can visit only in the visitor’s lobby between 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Guest visiting hostel will park their cars/vehicles in parking area outside the hostel.
  • Post graduate students are not allowed to park their vehicle in hostel premises.

  • Students shall cooperate with security personnel at all times.
  • Entry into restricted areas without authorization is prohibited.
  • Students shall comply with all safety instructions, fire safety regulations, and emergency protocols.

  • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Students shall maintain mutual respect irrespective of batch, gender, religion, caste, or background.
  • Any act constituting ragging shall invite disciplinary and legal action under applicable laws and regulations, for which students can be suspended/terminated/expelled from the college.
  • If any female students/employee complaints against male the matter will be referred to Internal Complaint committee and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against perpetrators.

  • The College Administration reserves the right to modify, add, amend, or withdraw any rule in the interest of academic discipline, student welfare, and institutional requirements.
  • Violation of any rule by students may result into warning, fine, suspension, hostel expulsion, with holding the privileges or rustication depending upon the severity of misconduct.
  • The discussion of college committees/ Administration/ Management will be final and binding.
