Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

Delivering excellence in perioperative medicine, intensive care, and patient safety.

Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

The Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) was established in September 2015 since the inception of T.S. Misra Medical College & Hospital. Dr. (Brig.) Desh Pal was the Head of the Department from 17.07.2019 to 14.06.2021. At present Dr. Gaurav Kumar is Professor & Head. Undergraduate ENT training began in the initial academic years, creating a structured foundation for bedside teaching, supervised procedural training, and competency-based learning. As the institution expanded, the department strengthened its faculty, clinical services, and surgical infrastructure in alignment with national medical education standards. The department now functions as a comprehensive academic and clinical unit providing outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and operative services. Progressive infrastructure development, modern diagnostic facilities, surgical expansion, and simulation-based learning have shaped it into a balanced centre of clinical service and academic discipline. Now it is a postgraduate department with 04 seats per annum,
