I, feel pride to give a message for the prospectus of T.S. Misra Medical College Hospital, Situated next to Amausi Railway Station Lucknow.

T.S. Misra Medical College and Hospital is in the name of my grandfather Late Justice Triveni Sahai Misra and I am grateful to Almighty God that I have been given the opportunity to serve the same as vice Chairman of the Management Board of the college. My late grandfather retired as Chief Justice, Guwahati High Court. He also discharged his duties as Governor of Assam and Meghalaya and also served as Lok Ayukta Bihar. Being a freedom fighter, he had gone to Naini Jail during Freedom Movement in 1942 and served the Country till his last breath. He dedicated his entire life for alleviation of human sufferings and ailments particularly of poor strata of society and he taught the same lessons to our parents and to his grandchildren since our childhood.

In this context an initiative has been taken by our family under the able guidance of my father Shri Satish Chandra Misra, former Chairman, Bar Council of U.P. former Advocate General, UP. Former Cabinet Minister, UP Government and presently a sitting Member of Parliament (RajyaSabha) since July, 2004 to open T.S. Misra Medical College and Hospital, with the sole intention to serve the poor and to give best possible medical education so as to fill up the gap by producing good and dedicated doctors. Our faculty has been selected from experienced medical teachers of medical institute and Army Medical Core. Our Principal/Dean Prof. S.K Agrawal is a retired Vice Chancellor of King George’s Medical University, Lucknow who has got more than 48 years of experience in the field of Medical Teaching, Research Treatment and Administration. Besides this, we have got an eminent Surgeon who is our Medical Director Dr. R.S. Dubey and who has more than 42 years of experience in provincial medical service including as Director, Lohia Hospital, Lucknow to look-after patient’s care.

In view of above I am confident that our Medical Institute will produce highly trained Doctors and good human beings to serve and treat the ailing patients with full dedication, sincerity, sympathy and on low cost specially to poor.

I seek blessings of all so that this institution may flourish and become into a Multi-Speciality Hospital and eminent Medical University in near future.
